Padama Vibushan Dr. V. Krishnamurthy, Chairman, NMCC becomes IIF Patron
The National Council of The Institute of Indian Foundrymen (IIF) decided to invite Padama Vibushan Dr. V. Krishnamurthy, Chairman, National become a PATRON of IIF in recognition of his outstanding leadership and contribution to the Indian Metals industry.

It is our proud privilege and honours that Padama Vibushan Dr. V. Krishnamurthy has accepted the IIF’s invitation to become a PATRON. Padama Vibushan Dr. V. Krishnamurthy was conferred Patronship at a special meeting on 17th March 2011. Mr. Naresh Garg, President, IIF, Mr. Surendra Verma, Hony. Secretary, IIF and Mr. K.S. Satyanarayana, Past President, IIF presenting the Scroll of IIF Patronship to Padama Vibushan Dr. V. Krishnamurthy, Chairman, NMCC.
IIF Fellowship Conferred
Two senior members of the Institute were conferred the prestigious IIF Fellowship during the Inaugural Ceremony of 59th Indian Foundry Congress held in ‘Inderdhanush’ auditorium in Chandigarh on 11th Feb 2011. Dr. B. K. Basak, from Eastern Region (ER) and Dr. S. K. Goel from Northern Region (NR) were those honourable personalities to receive such award from Mr. Naresh Garg, President of the Institute formally handed over the Fellowship Certificates.

IIF Annual Awards
IIF annual awards for 2010 were distributed at the Inaugural Ceremony of 59th Indian Foundry Congress held in ‘Inderdhanush’ auditorium in Chandigarh on 11th Feb 2011 in presence of a large number of delegates, guests and dignitaries on the dais. The trophies, medals and certificates were given away by Mr. Naresh Garg, President, IIF to the winners of the awards.

The Awards were given to honour and recognise the outstanding performance of the foundrymen, foundries, IIF Regions and Chapters. IIF Awards Committee headed by its Chairman, Mr. D. G. Shastri evaluated the nominations for the awards and selected the winners.
