Last week, the Indian import scrap price went up slightly. According to market insiders, it was still hard to sustain such the price increase by a weak supply situation. However, traders believed that the scrap price might go further higher next week. December has already passed by half of a month; therefore, if the buyers hesitated in making orders or not, they might miss the opportunity and therefore price increases might be caused. Although recently the international scrap price was favored by a stable foundation, it seemed like the Indian import scrap price wasn’t sustained by such international price increase.
