India government plans to replace imported coking coal with domestic one

Indian Ministry of Coal made an official announcement that they will plan to improve the energy demand from India domestic and use India coking coal to replace from imported. The authority called this action will help to boost coking coal production and reduce the rely on imported coking coal. India is the second-largest coking coal import country in the world. With the demand to keep steady in China in recent years, the demand from India grew strongly instead. Therefore, Indian coking coal imports played an important role in the national sea freight market.
